Wife caring for husband with dementia gives advice to caregivers
Two wives caring for their husbands with dementia generously share their experiences and offer caregiving tips to those find themselves in a similar position with a loved one. (Video)

In a TODAY exclusive, Bruce Willis’s wife, Emma, shares an update on his battle with frontotemporal dementia and opens up about how she explains it to their daughters. “I don’t want there to be any stigma or shame attached to their dad’s diagnosis or for any form of dementia,” she says. Willis is joined by Susan Dickinson, CEO of The Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration, to bring awareness to the disease.

Carl and Carolyn Oldani’s marriage is a love story still writing its vows of devotion. “He was an incredible writer,” Carolyn says, talking about the love letters and notes Carl has written to her over the years. “His letters, his journals, his writings are amazing.”
