Patience is all I can say now. My wife of 20 years has Alzheimer’s she is 59 we r in the very beginning stages. I’m 57 I have learned to be very patient and understanding .I pray to God every day that he gives me the strength I need and her to .We r taking Leqembi

Really awesome thank you for sharing, it is hard to understand dementia or explain to anybody what one of your parent's are going through, my step dad knows my mother has Dementia and I have explained to him 100's of times what my mother is going through but he still gets mad at her everyday. Dementia is a cruel disease and all the person with Dementia / Alzheimer's wants is to be loved and have quality of life while they still around. A plenty of patience, a hug and a smile goes a long way <3

Brought a tear to my eye

Couldn't hold back the tears. My dear mama does the same as the father in the film. I have learned to become more patient in my replies, however hearing the son read out his father's words I recall how patient mama was teaching me new things and answering my questions as I was growing up.

Thank you for such a reminder, it teaches empathy, something we could all do with learning.
