“Music speaks
What cannot be expressed,
What cannot be expressed,
Soothes the mind and
Gives it rest.”
This site was inspired by my Mom’s autoimmune dementia.
It is a place where we separate out the wheat from the chafe, the important articles & videos from each week’s river of news. Google gets a new post on Alzheimer’s or dementia every 7 minutes. That can overwhelm anyone looking for help. This site filters out, focuses on and offers only the best information. it has helped hundreds of thousands of people since it debuted in 2007. Thanks to our many subscribers for your supportive feedback.

A drug for Alzheimer’s, called Leqembi, might soon be given less often. Right now, patients get it through a drip every two weeks. The idea is to change this to once a month.
BREAKTHROUGH: FOR THE FIRST TIME in 18 years, the FDA approved a new Alzheimer’s drug. The new medication’s generic name is aducanumab and will be marketed under the brand name Aduhelm. Another first is the drug’s ability to potentially slow down Alzheimer’s, not just cover up its symptoms, as existing medications do. Find out more.
How do the new drugs Leqembi and Kisunla fight Alzheimer’s? Surprisingly, increases in amyloid-beta protein levels can explain the slowing of Alzheimer’s at least as well as the reduction in amyloid plaques.
PREVENTION: Which of these cause Alzheimer’s: 1) Flu shots? 2) Aluminum? 3) Statin drugs? See the latest research.

This is soooo true! My grandfather had Alzheimer's.. I asked one day if he would like to sing to which he just smiled… I began singing "Amazing Grace" and he began to hum the tune…. I could hardly sing because of the tears… What a blessing it was!
